Beautiful Web Design

Beautiful web design can mean a myriad of things to people.  To me, it means clean and minimal. You may ask yourself, what exactly does minimal mean? Minimal design means carefully chosen images that are high-quality and evoke a feeling or the essence of your brand that you want to convey. It also means selecting a great font type and the perfect color palette.

The design must have the right amount of white space in the ideal areas to make images and text pop to get the attention of the reader without being annoying. Remember blinking text and lots of prime colors with messy links everywhere and poor quality images? Websites that were built in the 90s, or that look that way, are super rare these days. Thank goodness! Here are some sites that I love. They combine everything I mentioned and remind me of fabulous print ads.

Creative Inspiration

One of my favorite places to visit when I want to relax, be in the moment or find creative inspiration is a museum. Doesn’t matter which museum but I especially enjoy the Dallas Museum of Art.

I love the quiet contemplation in the rooms, coming from people who project amazement and oftentimes big, warm smiles of satisfied viewing pleasure. The works of art make me think, “What inspired the artist? What was their creative process?” I love to imagine, and read about, how it all went down and if they ever imagined thousands (or even millions!) of people staring at their art in wonderment, decades or centuries later.
